Thank you for your kind notice on the status of control.ctl
at ftp://ftp.isc.org/pub/usenet/CONFiG/. We sent an e-mail
notifying the changes to Mr. David Lawrence, but it seems
that it somehow escaped his attention. We shall try to contact
with him again.

After the past four-month trial period, the fj Newsgroups
Management Committee has decided to use PGP-signed control
messages for the fj hierarchy, on the occation of the renewal
of committee members and the change of e-mail address, from
" fj-committee@cow.nara.sharp.co.jp"  to " committee@fj-news.org" .

1. All the control messages for the fj hierarchy, checkgroups,
   newgroup, and rmgroup control messages, are issued with
   PGP-signing " From: committee@fj-news.org" .

Remark: In the transition period, the control messages with
   PGP-signing " From: fj-committee@cow.nara.sharp.co.jp" 
   will be issued, too.

   The Key User ID is " fj.news.announce" .

   At the bottom of this article, we include the public PGP
