Actually, it's not public domain.
Anyway, you can get kanji font files at reasonable prices.
Kanji fonts are defined as JIS standard.
(They are kanji fonts for dot printers.)
JIS C 6232 (16*16)
kikaku-syo 3000 yen
floppy disk 30000 yen
JIS C 6234 (24*24)
kikaku-syo 3000 yen
floppy disk 30000 yen
Both support Kanjis Level 1 and 2.
They are available from NIHON KIKAKU KYOUKAI.(03-583-8001)
