About the Information Ethics Digital Video Teaching Materials

In our field, information ethics is of paramount importance, and we highly recommend referring to these materials. To access the videos, log in to webclass and click on the link labeled “Information Ethics Digital Video” located towards the bottom. Inside, you will find a manual with accompanying images, and here is a brief guide on how to use it:

There are two types of videos available:

  • Compilation 2
  • Compilation 3 (Both are available for Macintosh and Windows.)

After selecting either option, a PDF with instructions will be displayed. Choose “Contents,” press “Enter,” and if you are using a Mac, you can access the main menu. Click on the image below to see a larger version.

There are two sections, “Story” and “Solution,” and you can play the videos by clicking on their respective buttons.

If, for some reason, you encounter difficulties playing the videos, although it rarely happens, you can download a playback software from http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html. Make sure to download the version compatible with your Mac. In this case, you will need to save the video you want to watch. To do this, open the page of the desired video, right-click, and select “Save.”
